The Trinity Ring
One night while relaxing on his sofa, thinking about nothing,
Dr. McKenzie blurted out a prayer that was so sudden and unexpected that it startled him: “Lord, I’m sure I wasn’t given this information [about schizophrenia] for my amusement. I need funds, funds for research and funds to bring this work forward.”
Two nights later, while sitting in the same spot, he mentally heard a one-word directive: “Meditate.”
